Where is the tourist information office?

It is located in Cavriglia, about 4 km from the hotel.

What kind of services does Montegonzi or the nearest town offer?

There’s a small shop selling groceries, cigarettes and coffee in Montegonzi while in Cavriglia, just 4 kilometers away, there’s a bank, a post-office, a pharmacy, a doctor, a dentist, restaurants, cafés, shops, supermarkets, dry cleaner’s, tobacco shops and more.

How far are the airports in Tuscany and the motorway A1 Milan-Rome?

The “Valdarno” exit of the A1 Milano-Roma motorway is 14 km away. The Amerigo Vespucci airport in Florence Peretola is 75 km away – 63km of which would be  travelled on the A1 motorway. The Galileo Galilei airport in Pisa is 137 km from us – 120 km travelled on a fast road.

How far is the nearest train station from you?

The train stations in Montevarchi and San Giovanni Valdarno are both about 15 km away. They have ample free parking. You can reach Florence and Arezzo from these stations.

Is there a shuttle service from the hotel to these stations?

No there isn’t, but we can organize one for you upon request.

Is breakfast included in the price?

Yes, breakfast is included in the price of the room.

Do you allow pets on your property?

Small and medium-sized pets are allowed, but there is a tax of 25,00 euro, una tantum, for the cleaning. When you check out of the hotel we like to take a look at the room to make sure that your pet hasn’t damaged anything.

Are cots and high chairs available?

Yes, we have cots and high chairs for children.

Is the hotel open all year?

The hotel is closed from 9 January to 9 February. You can, however, contact us for bookings.

What time of year is the swimming pool open?

It is open from the beginning of May until the end of September, weather permitting.

Is your hotel equipped for guests with disabilities?

We have two rooms which are equipped for guests with disabilities.

Is it possible to have the sheets changed daily?

Yes, it is upon request and the service has a cost.

How can I book a room?

When do I know that the booking is sure?

The rooms are guaranteed and booked in your name when the hotel sends you an email confirming the booking.

How do I know that my reservation is sure?

You will be asked to give us your credit card number and expiration date as a pre-guarantee when booking for more than 4 nights. In the case of a non-refundable booking, the reservation will be confirmed once the amount due is received.

Where and how can I pay for my stay?

Payment for the entire amount due takes place in the hotel when you are checking out. Payment can be made with one of the credit cards used in the initial booking, or by debit card or in cash. For a non-refundable fee, the entire amount due must be paid at the time of booking either by credit card or by bank transfer.

Which credit cards do you accept?

We accept Visa, American Express, Mastercard, Maestro and Bancomat.

Do the prices listed refer to the room or the occupant(s)?

Prices refer to the room per night.

What are your cancellation terms?

Standard fee

If the cancellation arrives prior to 7 days of the booked arrival date, there is no cancellation fee. If the cancellation arrives less than 7 days before the booked arrival date the cost of one night’s stay will be charged to the client.   If the cancellation is made one day (24 hours) before the booked arrival date or in the case of a no show, the cost of the entire booking will be charged to the client.

In the unfortunate case of certified positive Covid-19 diagnosis or restrictions imposed by the government on mobility will be issued a voucher equivalent to the amount paid valid for a year and depending on availability.

Non refundable booking

The total amount of the booking is paid in advance and is not refundable. The client pays the entire amount of the booking fee if he/she cancels at any time after the booking has been made.

The reception is open from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. For departures before 9:00 am or arrivals after 7:00 pm we ask you to inform us in writing at info@lelappe.com or telephone +39 331 851 0309.

What time can I check in and check out?

Check-in time is from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm but we are happy to welcome you later. Please inform us by sending us an email if you are arriving after 7:00 pm. We ask our guests to free their room before 11:00 am. You are welcome to stay on the grounds of the hotel after that time if need be. It is possible to have a late check-out at 1:00 pm if the hotel agrees and there is an additional fee of € 25 for that service.

What if we arrive before 3:00pm to check in?

We happily welcome all of our guests and make their arrival as comfortable as possible. Early check-in is possible, we kindly ask you to inform us and there is an additional fee of € 25 for that service.

To guarantee the wellbeing of our guests at our relais we have brought up the standards of our cleaning protocols. The common spaces just like the private rooms are sanitized daily based on the ISS protocols issued by the WHO and the government. The staff applies social distancing norms as well as all the other measures that assure the wellbeing of the guests and the staff.
